Texas cash-out qualification

In Texas, a cash-out refinance on your primary residence is a home-equity loan under Article XVI, Section 50(a)(6) of the state constitution, which adds requirements beyond a standard refinance — including signing the final papers in person at a lender's, attorney's, or title company's office rather than online.
