E-SIGN Consent

Consent to Electronic Communications (E-SIGN)

We must provide you with certain communications and disclosures in writing (i.e., you have a right to receive such communications on paper) pursuant to applicable laws and regulations. This information may be provided to you electronically if you agree to this E-SIGN consent (“Consent”).

By opening the Account, you consent to receive all disclosures, agreements, statements, notices, and other communications electronically, including legal and regulatory disclosures, tax forms (such as Forms 1099), and privacy notices (“Communications”). Your consent also authorizes the use of electronic records and signatures in our relationship.

• Hardware/software you need: a computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access; a current web browser that supports secure encryption; the ability to open and save PDF files; a valid email address on file; either a printer, hard drive with sufficient storage or other storage device/means to print or store the Communications. You understand that Communications may be sent to you by emails containing attachments in PDF format, sent to you by emails, or by secure messages in the app, containing links to documents in PDF format, or made available to you on our website. You should make sure that any spam filter you use is set to allow receipt of messages from support@athenamoney.co. You represent that you have the hardware, software, email address and email capacities described above, and your ability to read this Consent demonstrates that you have the necessary hardware and software to receive Communications electronically.
• Electronic statements are free. You may request a paper copy of any statement or Communication at any time.
• Because all of our Accounts are provided digitally and use electronic means to deliver information, you must agree to this Consent to obtain and use an Account. Each person applying for or named as an owner of an Account, including each owner of a Joint Account, must give this Consent individually; one owner cannot consent for the other. If one owner of a Joint Account withdraws consent, the withdrawal applies only to that owner. Any withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic Communications will be effective only after we have a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal. Withdrawal will not affect any Communications we provided to you prior to your withdrawal, and we will send any required further Communications to you in paper form. You will remain responsible for any amounts that you owe us or may come due, and any other obligations you have under any agreements governing your Accounts will remain in full force and effect.
• Keep your email and contact information current. If electronic communications are undeliverable, we may suspend delivery until you update your information.
• You must immediately notify us of any change to your email address, contact information and other information related to this Consent and your Account. You can update this information in the Athena app or by calling 877-687-0111. You represent and agree that you have provided us with a current e-mail address at which we may send electronic Communications to you.
